It looks infinitely better than anything Vangaurd has released. Hopefully Turbine will have learned a thing or two from DDO's failure before this goes gold.

Looks really nice but how can you keep a playerbase with such an open and close storyline. I mean, how much content can you squeeze in before killing Sauron......then what?!?!

Take a look at the appendix to The Lord of the Rings; it's huge. Blood fueds between different groups of elves, long last erudite nations like the Numenore that Aragorn and Elrond descended from. Of the five wizards we only know specifically about three. There's the eldar, valar, maia(basically Gandalf's level) for a mythos if you ever want to have encounters vs. deities or demigods. I think during the period in between The Hobbit and LOTR is when Saruman experienced his fall from grace when Gandalf said he had an important mission in hte Mirkwood forest--(the White Council attacks Dol Guldur).

There's tons of content, but I wish them luck in getting any sort of license from Christopher Tolkien, since he's such an abysmal writer.

Bastard! Hopefully it has potential and is fun from the gate. Given Turbine's past games, I'm not very hopeful, though. AC, AC2, and DDO were all asstastically mediocre.

Zzzzzzz I almost fell asleep watching this. Here's what reviewers will most likely say about this game:

A. WoW's graphics are better.
B. The particle effects are LAME.
C. There's nothing 'new' about this game.
D. It does not have a LOTR feel to it.
