It's beautiful right now, really. State fair is this week!

I hate when you get stuck at the very top for a couple minutes cuz some retard is taking his time getting on at the bottom. You start looking at the bolts and cotter pins and wondering if Spazz and Tuggan were stoned when they helped put the ferris wheel together and might have overlooked vital components.

A couple kids (a 4 and a 8 year old) fell thru the canvas roof of a permanent ferris wheel at a park near my parents. The car didn't rotate like it should and went upside down and the kids fell about 20 feet.
They both lived but I doubt they'll ever get on another ferris wheel.
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.
I had quite a bad injury from falling off of a horse once. I was in wheel chair for three months and using crutches for another three plus months. I really busted up my knee's. At the time the thought of ever getting on a horse again scared the shit out of me. My trainer told me that I would always be afraid of horses unless I forced myself to ride again. So a year after the injury I did so. Was probably one of the scariest things I did in my life. My trainer led the horse by a rope, and even that was a huge step for me. I now have no fear of riding anymore, and I absolutely love it!
Then again, I was much older than those two kids were.

I got stuck at the top of the ferris wheel when I was pregnant and at the time I wasn't sure if I wanted the baby, so I secretly hoped I might miscarry. I was really glad though, when it didn't happen. Then I took a class on how to be a loving mother.
