To bad Madden Football sucks money balls. Besides listening to that dimwit spout off the obvious play after play... you have to hold down 4 buttoms, move both toggles and lick your own nuts at the same time to kick the fucking ball.

Fuck Madden Football... even though I do play it every now and then because fucking EA sports fucked everyone over and sued for sole rights to use NFL stadium and player names and now it's the only 'real' football game you can buy. and won.

Someone who has a life outside the living room. You should try it some time... you go out and lose your virginity... after you lose about 50 pounds and rid yourself of those unsightly pimples.

Supermario Bros is kind of an unfair statistic considering it came bundled with the 8 Bit Nintendo.

I'm 5'10" 170, no pimples, lost my virginity at age 17 and go fishing and play sports regularly.

Just because I know the correct name for something doesn't mean I'm a nerd.

So do you still call a remote control a "clicker" or a television the "tube"?

PS: The Bills suck, and J.P. Losman is a fag and has a hard-on for Brett Farve.

Proof:

http://rochesterdandc.com/apps/pbcs.dll ... 1/ARCHIVE5

"I got the opportunity to go down there and play some golf and I said, 'Yeah, I'll play golf with Brett Favre,'" Losman said. "He invited me to the house to go pick him up, so I went to the house, and there he was with his tight little shorts, no shirt, his little red hat, and he was doing some farming or something, and he was covered in dirt. It was awesome, man. It was good to see that."

Yeah, I wondered if prepackaged marios were included in that statistic.

Even so, I'd imagine it could still be number 1: mario bro's, super mario bro's, mario 2,3 , super mario world, yoshi's island, mario rpg, mario 64, bunch of gamcube crab, mario golf, mario party, game boy mario games, ect... there's a shitload. Even more counting wario games and such.

Oh, I thought they were just referring to the first super mario bros.

Anything after original tetris didn't sell much and Pacman is only 3 or 4 games deep, the latter 2 games not being very popular like the original and Ms. Pacman. The games on the list either have more than 5 sequels, multiple spinoff games, were prepackaged with the system, are mmo, or have some kind of an online multiplayer aspect to them or are just exceptional in general.

Tetris in one form or another has been released on just about every gaming platform since the late 80's. It has to have sold many, many millions of copies.

i don't think people actually pay for tetris though

everyone has always just downloaded it for free, especially back when it was originally popular on the pc/commodore 64(and by downloaded, i mean copy'd the floppy from a friend using fast hack'em)

Tetris is a generic term and not a franchise is what it is I think. Like, I can make a version of tetris, you can make a version of tetris and it'd all be unrelated just the same game.
