I made one and got in touch with a friend I hadnt seen since high school. Our kids play together now....well, before she moved again.

Other than that, I hate myspace. Its a waste.

Didn't think so...

haha, had to address this

mine can ;)

it's a super unknown feature of a lot of voicemail services that you can set up a message group, and fire off the same message to everyone on that list at once

myspace is so funny. I was on there, said "this is so pointless why do I have this" then so many people I knew and hadn't seen in YEARS were finding me, mostly I see how it's VERY useful for bands/music but as a personal page-it's what you make of it. I like blogging and being able to see recent pics of people I know irl and how to reach them. Nowadays, with cell phones and what-not people aren't exactly listed, and I don't live in my hometown so I am disconnected.

The concept is great. The implementation is asstastic and geared towards 'yutes' as Joe Pesci would say. The A.D.D. flashies and Disco over the top page designs make me stabby.

Myspace is a-ok. I haven't gotten around to using mine much but it seems like a great tool.

It was originally made for Businesses to allow people to submit applications online. But then no one thought it would turn big so it got turned into a site for people to meet and msg, comment, etc. Now Businesses are starting to use it AFTER a bunch of random people.

Irony imho.

It was originally created for Cali bands to advertise shows, new music etc.
