Old West MMO

So I downloaded the first season of deadwood last night. Awesome show.

Watching it got me thinking, is there anyone working on an MMO set in the old west?

Seems like it could work.

Use the united states (or parts of it depending on how many expansions you want to put out) as your map.

Some classes could be:

Gambler
Prospector (guy that tries to find gold)
Inn Keeper
Bandit
Law Man
Doc
Tradesman

You can form a posse/gang (guild) and you can build your own saloons/inns/gambling halls/doctor office and you can buya mine / part of a stream to prospect in. You can also get into gun fights etc.

It would probably be like a SIMS mmo being that you can build a town. But you can weave combat in so it could be a cross between the two.

You could have Indian classes too.

There is plenty of depth and interest in the old west for a game like this.

I think a stylized old-west thing would be cool. You could even mix genres. Like throw pirates and feudal japanese (ninja and samurai) into the mix. Why the hell not? That game would be the shit.

There should be an MMO where you can choose to be a different race in the world ie: White, Black, Chinese, Mexican, Jewish maybe even Canadians and it would be nothing but PVP and you'd fuck each other up to see who is the most dominant race.

Black people could eat fried chicken to restore HP, and the Chinese have a 10% chance giving you SARS on a melee attack.

The Japanese could run around naked and gain an innate 25% haste called "Penis Envy" only available when around other races.

Africans would be slowed 25% when grouped with fat white women.

Africans would receive a speed and breath penalty while swimming.

Jews receive a 10% discount on all vendored items.

Japanese receive a 30% driving penalty.

Afghans have no playable female classes.

ya I did a google and read it. I heard somethinga bout a duck hunt 2 for the wii. Duck hunt is by far my fav game to play drinking. If wii does a half decent job ill get it just for that.
