I am going to be looking into a gym membership tonight so hopefully will be able to start weights. I have been alternating running with simple pushup/situp type stuff.
For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.

Adequate footwear makes a colossal difference as well. Several months ago I switched to a much lighter model with more cushioning, and although I was doing just fine before, the difference as far as my joints are concerned is incredible. Just a personal observation.
