I do my stuff at a local bank, I know where the owner lives and his phone number is not unlisted. So yeah... if problems occur, you know how to get ahold of local guys.

BoA has been nothing but good to us (we had our card stolen about a year ago and they cleared it right up, all money returned) and my dad (just this past week had his identity stolen and the bank called him right away about suspicious changes to his accounts).
I havent had many good experiences with credit unions.

banks/credit unions are pretty much always only as good as the local staff at that branch

Wachovia Corp. confirmed Tuesday afternoon that it has terminated its correspondent banking relationship with Middle East and Africa Bank because of the Lebanon bank's alleged ties with Hezbollah...
