Anybody here ever had one? I built one when I was like 14. These kits are nice, but if you buy the kit and a 6hp engine, it comes to almost $1000. That seems a little pricy.

my dad built me one when i was 8 or 9. had it for a few years until it mysteriously disappeared one day.

My girlfriend and I went to Block Island this weekend. We rented a moped. Before letting us go out on our own the guy who rented it to us was like "take a practice run around this track first" so I jumped on, hit the gas and immediatly crashed it into the side of the building". Then he said "ok, just go".
