I went to Catholic mass this weekend (for reasons you don't need to know). I didn't combust into flames or anything when I went inside.

It was fun hearing the priest talk about how the mans role is to be the head of the household. He also said that all Arabs were terrorists and were vengeful and should accept Jesus.

No, he was too busy telling people how great it was that missionaries forced some Africans to drop their archaic "history".
