I despise Steam as well. It crashes on my AMD system.
Both my friends who have purchased legal copies of HL2 forgot their steam passwords and are too lazy to get em back so even though I have the game installed on my computer I can't play~
it's an RPG based off the Half Life 2 engine. cool idea, and pretty cool implementation. it's probably the closest thing you'll come to Oblivion multiplayer.

It kinda sucks, melees are way overpowered. Netcode is ass, takes 5+ minutes to join a game. Video is definitely not optimized. I play 1680x1050 CS:Source with all graphics up, I have to drop down to 1200ishxwhatever to keep the lag down even when just playing 1 on 1.
