oh I realize that

what I mean tho, is there a benefit to micromanaging your team every day to swap in players who play that night, for players who didn't?

or if a team plays a matinee in the East, can I then swap my rosters at 8 pm to earn pts for players who are playing the late west coast games

Each position has a maximum of 82 games. So if you have injuries to some of your positions and can't swap in time there is a benefit to doing that. This will be the case with Goalie positions since no goalie is gonna play 82 games a year.

5 times? that would surprise me, i remember him having one or two seasons with huge games player totals with the oilers and then again when he played for the blues were he was overworked like crazy. Course thats why he burned out in the playoffs, he had nothing left

burned out in the playoffs? you mean like when the leafs goon ran him over and tore his ACL?

sounds like burnout to me

ps, 70 was a typo, i meant 60+ (he did have 3 seasons over 70 though)

I'll keep both for now and maybe trim one if that's what the group desires.

what's the complete list of options?

maybe we can come to consensus about what we really want?

i'd rather have faceoff wins then PIM count (unless you win by having lowest PIM)

how is the draft order decided, and to you pick a whole team or just 1 line?

Draft order is determined randomly 45 minutes before the draft.

You draft players one at a time.

personally, i'd choose:

G, A, P, +/-, PPP, SHP, FW, PIM

for goalies:

W, GS, GA, GAA, SV%, SHO

only reason to toss GS in is to prevent someone from picking a nothing goalie who won't play much to get insta win in GA ;)

i know you pick one at a time, but i was wondering if you draft a whole team or just 1 line.

if a player gets injured, say for the season, are you fucked or do you get to pick a replacement?

all the rules are listed on the site ;)

you draft 2 centers, 2 RW, 2 LW, 4Defense, 2 goalies, and 4 bench players

if a player gets hurt for the entire season, you can put him on IR, and pick up another player

if he just gets hurt for 4 months, you can either bench him, or drop him completely(which would allow someone else to pick him up)
