Linux on a Stick

Putting DNAlinux on a sandisk stick. Was wondering how to get a Windows unit to dual boot when the stick is in the USB? Windows doesn't detect memory sticks as "drives" during booting, does it?

Depends on your system's bios.

Most newer systems should have an option to boot from USB.

Just do a google search for "boot to usb" and you'll find a lot of results

I definatly works. I have a 256M thunbdrive with DSL (Damn Small Linux) Installed on it. Had to set up multiple kernel options on it because the thunb drive was a different device based on the comp it was plugged into (sda, sdb, sdc or sdd depending on the comp). I cant really think of a reason to setup dual booting to windows but it can certainly be done.
