How many official records do you think there are?
Most gatoraide drank between 3rd and 4th quarter while standing to the right of the head coach and leading the home team by exactly 12 points.
Is there anything they DON'T have a record for?

Denver usually beats NE. Shanahan doesn't let Belichik get away with his cheap shit stunt tricks to win.
Its a shame NE is in a pathetic division. I'd love to see them have a losing season, especially for the way they treat their players. The Jets, Buff, and Miami all suck, though so NE gets a free pass into the postseason, where they'll get torn another asshole just like last year.

Its just a matter of time before some team pulls Bbrady away from NE. I would be pissed is I were him, they give him NOTHING to work with and expect him to lead them to a championship. They seriously need to find a few people who can actually catch a pass.
For to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.
Top 50 WR's in the NFL, which of them are on NE. Top 25 TE's which are on NE. The NE offense is sitting on one of the top QB's in the leage, a good TE and RB and some rookies.
What do you think would happen to NE if Brady went down? How many games do you think they could pull off?

Not to mention Maroney.
I think the point is more why would N.E. let their best WR go when they are flush with cash and way under the cap? Brady has a right to be pissed.
Why do they continuously treat their players like crap and lowball them?
Brady is there for the longterm, but it seems like N.E. is more worried about pinching pennies and hoping Belichiks fake injuries and taking opposing teams players off the waiver wire will merit them a few more Super bowls.

New England "pinching pennies" got them 3 super bowls in 4 seasons. Now I'm not saying that I condone how they treat their players, I'm just saying what they are doing brings results.
In a way they are sending a message to all the players that none of them are more important than the rest. I really have no doubt in my mind that if Tom Brady started pissing a moaning, holding out and demanding more money, that Bilichik would let him go.
Just look at what happened to Viniteiri, arguably the best clutch kicker in NFL history.

I disagree with this. You never lose that competitive fire to still be the best YEAR IN and YEAR OUT. Im not saying that theses people are not greedy etc, but their is deffinatly that copetitive fire to be the best.
Second, i dont think the Dieon Branch you can rank up there with greedy players. This guy is playing in the last year of his original ROOKIE contract, that generally doesnt pay someone very much. He plays a contact, one hit and your career is done sport. You need to protect yourself, and he went out and wanted a contract extension. This way if he does get hurt this year, he actually has a decent chunk of change that may need to last him the rest of his life.
You have to remember, Football contracts are not Gauranteed contracts like baseball. If they decide to cut you, you get a VERY small portion of the original contract. It doesnt matter if you 5 years left, if they cut you they only pay you out a small portion.
Ive always been apposed to people holding out. My view was you signed the contract, play out the contract. However I cant blame Dieon for holding out, just like Javon Walker last year. You have to think of the future, in a violent and possible career ending or debilitating injury.
Why fight it, i am a Man Whore!
