I'm more interested in EQ2 than WOW right now. Blizzard makes good games, but with their <3 of EQ and the issues I have with how they're testing and getting feedback, I believe EQ2 will be the better game.

of course all this stuff is subjective. the ideas behind FFXI were great but the gameplay was dull and pointless. im surprised they didnt steal the best idea from DAOC, weapon styles, with weapon styles if you are a tank to cant press autoattack and go afk. im going to try wow and eq2 and stick to whichever one i get addicted to first

That was the hardest parf of trying to re level in EQ after a long stay in DAOC.

Given the amount of stuff Mythic has stolen from Verant, why in the world has /stick never made it to EQ?

God, stickl was great for a shadowblade(rogue). You could just stick a mob a strafe around him.

But boy did that game have problems.

Well...there is a Ginzburgh in both games, and the Ginzburgh in EQ came first.

My ass.

When a scout decides to become a bard, he or she is given a quest to retrieve a certain book. You can only obtain this book when its owner, who is attending a party, is properly distracted. There are five musicians at the party who will each play a song for you if you ask them. When one plays a song, you'll notice a member of the audience applauding. You need to figure out the proper order to play the songs so that the entire audience is applauding. That way they'll be distracted and you can swipe the book you need

That is idiotic.

I think the idea is that they're so in tune with the forces of magic that it has become an innate part of them, and their race is evolving accordingly.
