What the fuck bitch?
I said a twisted version. not the normal version. The normal version would not try and hook up with kids. Just 18 year old Wahini's from the islands.

Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

I dont go places by myself because I have problems asking for help, should I need it, so when I go with people, I have them ask. I guess I am a little messed up, I am severly socially retarded and awkward. But that doesnt stem from going to day care, that stems from my mother grounding me for years (yes years) at a time. That's my mom's "parenting".
Because she never learned to be a proper parent either.
It's a vicious cycle and it's still being passed onto the next generation by many parents....especially inner city ones. Sins of the fathers truly are reaped by the children.

Out of curiosity, how many kids and where did she fit in agewise? My mother was the oldest girl out of seven and her mother pretty much handed over the youngest for her to raise when he was born even though Grandma was home, too.
Shush Zan. It's not about the blacks it's about poor parenting all around.

It's okay to feel guilty cuz you stuck your kid in daycare early, Toss.

My daughter is actually learning more words at day care than she wa slearning with me. Since we put her in day care, I think she's added 2 words, but that's big considering she only knows about 5.
Dr.s say that kids learn to talk more at day care than with their parents because they see that noone is talking to the mom (or dad if thats the case of who is staying home) and they feel they dont need to either. It makes sense.
Birth order of who? My mom or her mom? My mom is the middle child, but the oldest...she's a twin and they were born first followed a couple years later by my uncle. My grandmothers birth order? No idea. I dont know a lot about her, we dont live too close.

Yeah... cuz I'm all tore up inside over it. I mean, he really seems to be suffering from being forced to socialize with human beings other than his mother. With his genius IQ, good looks and irresistible charm and wit, I have no idea how he will ever succeed in life. Poor kid never had a chance... If only he had a poor, white trash, backwoods, socially retarded stay at home mom to guide his path, he could have been someone. *yawn*
LOL...Toss had to chime in with a lame shot at me that indicated he was uncomfortable with what I was saying and the bandwagonners have jumped in. I've been talking purely from a pre-schoolage standpoint. Once they are old enough for school it's a different subject.
Darc...you've just mostly proved my point....you were put in daycare so you follow that pattern with your own child because subconsciously you think that's how it should be done. To me....not being a SAHM to my young children was out of the question because that's how I was raised. We pass along our own experiences.

No, we put her in day care originally because I was on hospitalized bed rest for 2 weeks and there was noone to watch her while Gid and his mom and my prents worked during the day. She goes to day care twice a week.
If she didnt love it so much I would have pulled her out of day care and kept her at home, but she has a little friend that she likes to play with and she is learning. That gives me time to take care of the baby, sleep and try and cheer my ass up.
I didnt put her in day care because I was in day care, I was a SAHM up until a month ago with no intention on stopping until we moved to our first duty station, then I was going back to school. But someone higher than myself had different plans for us.
