The playoff starts on Tuesday. Here are the matchup:
AL:
Oakland vs. Minneasota
Detroit vs. NY Yankees
NL:
Los Angeles vs. NY Mets
St. Louis vs. San Diego
Although I want to see an Oakland vs. San Diego world series, I don't think it will happen. It will be NY vs. NY with the Yankees winning.

Yes. Beat those damn yankees at least once. Friday night should be rockin' in Detroit, and I don't just mean the cars being tipped over and fire bombed.

The Tigers beat the Yankees and their 200+ million dollars payroll 3 games to 1. It will be the A's vs. Tigers in the ALCS.

Yankees have been showing that for a few years now. The team is always better then the player.

What I find really funnt is that if other owners had the $$ to do what the yankees do, they would do it in a second.
Baseball needs a salary cap, hell if I had my way there would be and it would be about 5 million a year for the whole team. They could then take all that money they dont spen on the players and bring ticket prices way down so that more families could goto a ball game without spending a weeks pay to do it.
