I have recently decided that IRL people are generally either sheep or trash. I am going to be playing EQ again as soon as I can. That should be this week sometime. I, of course, will be back on The Nameless as always. And NO, I have no plans to raid.

I did twice...I in no short terms told tech support they are retarded in emails.

I fixed it, but by the time I did (they still to this day can't solve the problem for their userbase) I was fed up.

I won't tell them how to fix it either. Let someone else tell them, they surely can't figure it out.

I woke up today and decided I was going to re up my EQ and start playing again! But then I realized they totally fucked up the regen system so I quit again.

It took me nearly two weeks to fix my install, trial and error.

I wanted to go to sony and punch every tech in the face.

I frequent the tech support forums and they STILL haven't fixed it. There are thousands of people affected who can't play as a result of their apparent stupidity.

Literally, all they need to do is delete a few DLLs and replace them with the patcher's HTTP address download of those DLLs. For some fucking retarded reason, when the patcher uncompresses the downloaded DLL it corrupts it. (not a big secret finding this if you know how to netstat open connections and then dig through a file server for what you need)

My patcher hasnt worked for like 7 months since i last quit since I couldnt patch so i couldnt play. reinstalled eq and everything and it still just sits there and goes (not responding)

You people love to talk so much WoW shit. :P Honestly have any of you that talk shit ever even experienced the end game? Come raid Naxx with me one night, you will appreciate the encounters a lot more, there is some damn cool shit in there. The end game is vastly improved over the simplicity of the beginning.
