Think it's a good turntable? We of course are beginners so if you can tell us what other things we might need it would be of great help. Also decently priced pls. Not exactly cheap but not a piece of shit that will break in a week.

What're you buying the turntable for? If you're going to try and do DJing, you're going to need a 2nd turntable and a mixer.

I don't know how good that model is, but I do know that the standard turntable most used out there by DJs is Technics. (from the 1200s series, as I recall).

Now, if it's just for listening to records with, then there's tons more options, and I really can't help.

Yes I know we are going to need a 2nd turntable and 1 one of these 3 or more channel mixers also.

Edit: I mostly want to know what good headphones and crap there are. Also what is a good mixer and shit.

Also technics are pretty fucking expensive....the one's that I have seen so far. I could get 2 of those turntables for 200 each minus shipping and handling and a mixer for like 75.

for DJing I can't recommend anything but Technics 1200's. Everything else is crap in my opinion. You are better off finding a used pair of 1200's for around $500 for the pair with cartridges. Gemini, Numark, Stanton, etc are a waste of money. They may be cheaper to start off with but they have no resale value, are not easily repaired if broken and it's almost guaranteed that they will not have them in any club you might play in and if you are used to mixing on one set of tables and then have to play on another, you will not be able to pull it off. Besides that, they just don't function anywhere near as well as the Technics. Slower spin up and braking, less accurate pitch adjustment, less solid build, inferior sound, tracking and skip resistance, etc

Buy any cheap 2 channel mixer and headphones to start with as they all pretty much function the same. If you decide to get serious buy an Allen and Heath, Rane or a Urei mixer.
