I fear that Dallas will lose. As much as I hate the Cowgirls I hate the fagtastic Mannings even more.

BUT fret not my friends - we are about to listen to 3 hours of the announcers sucking the mighty cock of Eli Manning!!!

Would it be too much to pray for the Mannings to be tied the bumper of the bus and sent to the bottom of the ocean?

Dallas 17 - Giants 24

I hope I'm wrong I realllllllly do.

I saw a game that madden/michaels did last week, and sweet jebus, Madden sounded lucid, and intelligent compared to the ESPN tards

LOL. That's saying alot considering Madden has the IQ of a carrot. I'll never forget one of the stupidest things I've ever heard him say (other than shit like - "the team who put's the most points on the board wins") - seriously though. He was talking about a player (I forget who) and noted that the player had a degree in chemical engineering and asked "what in the world would you do with that?!?!" Like it was basket weaving or something...

To call someone dumber than Madden is very ccc.

I was laughing so hard when Kornheiser said of Drew Bledsoe...

"When you have a quarterback that is more immoble than the statue of liberty, you are going to get sacked"

Omg great line.

I suppose you mean Romo. And by replacing Bledsoe midgame, thats a signal that you are replacing your qaurterback for the season. Romo will probably get the majority of the snaps in the practice this week, i would expect him to be the starter from here on out...for better or worse.

To me the Cowboys had a legitamate shot at the playoffs with Bledsoe at the helm, with Romo now, its an outside chance to almost none. However Romo will be a good quarterback, and you have to start the rebuilding process at some point.

Omg great line.

He's trying too hard to be funny

He made that comment right after Arrington timed his blitz and sacked bledsoe in the endzone

Michael Vick wouldn't have been able to avoid that sack

ps, how do you not even attempt to block a guy who's taking a 3-4 step run at the line, jeje

Your right he was tryiing hard to be funny. But come on i dont think ive ever heard a commentator actually touch that. Ive heard them say he is mobile...i heard them call him slow, ive heard him called just about everything. But saying he is more imoble than the statue of liberty is comedic gold. I about spit my beer out of my nose when he said it.

it's stupid tho

his lack of mobility isn't an issue with a good Oline (well, much loss of an issue anyways)

Bernie Kosar was exactly the same way

hell, most QB's throw less accurately when you can put heat on them ;)

I'd still take Bledsoe over Vick any day of the week

I agree Tik...with a GOOD not even a great offensive line Bledsoe is a good qaurterback, wich is why the move to Romo makes NO sense during the season. He(Bledsoe) reminds me of Dan Marino on alot of levels. Great Arm, no mobility, that can pick a team apart better than almost anyone with time. Hell cant win the big game just like Marino jeje.

All in all i think Bledsoe has gotten a really bad rap in Dallas. He is stuck behind a sub par line on a team that is in the Spotlight of football. Not to mention adding the stress of T.O. to that team.

However the one thing that has plagued Bledsoe his entire career has been those interceptions at the goal line. It has gotten to the point where i expect it at least once a game. The offensive coordinator calling that pylon route...or box route...or out route, whatever you want to call it, is the worst fucking play in the book down at the goaline. Especially when its Bledsoe that after what ...14 years in the league? Cant figure out how to not throw that pass if he is covered? I mean you have sam adams over there ...who is arguably the best man coverage CB in the league, knowing that the reciever isnt going to go deep from teh 5 yard line.

I've never liked fade/corner routes

it's an alright call if you're matching a 6'5 receiver against like a 5'9 guy who can't jump (ie even if he KNOWS it's coming, just can't physically stop it)

Comparing Bledsoe to Marino is a huge stretch. Bledsoe lacks Marino's release speed, and he sure as hell doesn't have Marino's decision making ability. Marino's problem was the same problem Elway had for most of his career: they never put a good TEAM around him, and there's only so much 1 guy can do. Even his super bowl year, when he set a ton of records, his TEAM wasn't that great, and they got brutally exposed by the 49ers. (Well, not quite as badly as the 89 Bronco's did, to be sure, but still...)

Name one great running back the Dolphins had during Marino's tenure. An all-pro or even perennial pro-bowl type. Elway didn't win his first super bowl til he had Terrel Davis. The only reason the 49ers were able to win without one for so many years is because for much of the 80s, their offense was still so revolutionary that defenses hadn't caught up to it yet, for the most part. (and for at least a couple SB runs, they DID have Roger Craig, who was no slouch).

You are very right here. I in no way am saying that Bledsoe is as good or on the same level as marino. Just that some of his attributes remind me of him. And the little jab at Marino was more of a joke. You are right, i dont think that they ever had a running back that even went to the pro bowl during Marino's tenure. They did have Mark Clayton and Mark"super" Duper. Deffinatly a good recieving core.
