the new Samsung 22" widescreen monitor "SyncMaster225bw." Damn! Badass monitor. You can get it at Sam's Club for $379, which is the same price as Newegg.

Is that the one made by Vizio? I saw it today at Sam's and the picture was very clear.

My buddy bought an Aquos 47" 1080P LCD a few months back. Awesome TV. Hard to look at a 47" when you are used to 106" though... :)

Twice in one night!

Yeah, I can't wait for a year or two down the road when projectors are fucking amazing.

They're good now, but I wouldn't settle for a lesser model.

I need a new monitor for my computer. Aryy has a nice one for his though.

No money for that type of shit right now. Aryy just snagged us 2 pre-orders for the PS3 and one pre-order for the Wii. Gotta clear the credit card down so I can pick them up in less than a month :P Of course one of the pre-orders is going on ebay to get us a nice chunk of cash.

My projector pretty much kicks ass for a consumer grade model. I don't think I settled for anything. I was in the market for a plasma or LCD and this thing blew them all away in every department. If you have the proper room for it, buy one, if you are limited on space and or light restrictions, go flat screen.

I've been hearing that they've been wrong all this time on the life span and that they now actually think they can last several years with 6 hours a day of viewing... something along those lines.

Browsed the catalog for what Philips produces on Friday, I'm probably going to get one at cost + 10%(gogo employee discounts!). Going to go LCD over plasma most likely due to weight however. Although the AmbiLight makes for a nice home theater experience for some reason(friend has the 50" plasma with it and I like watching TV there for some reason).

Buying plasma right now is a complete waste of money. It looks great in the store but when you got two huge pink bars on the sides of your screen within the first 6 months, you'll wish you got LCD.

Welcome to shipping costs.

True, but I don't think it would be another $179 per unit, especially when big retailers buy in bulk.
