4th and 5 or something, with under a minute left, pennington lobbed the ball into the endzone

guy made a spectacular 1 hand catch, and a d back destroyed him and knocked him about 3 yards out of bounds

guy would have landed in bounds if not touched, but ref ruled otherwise

non-reviewable play

Would have been close, but i dont know if he would have gotten both feet in. One hell of a grab though regardless.

But its still a judgement call. Even if you look at the replay you cant Deffinatly say that he would have gotten both feet in bounds. Im glad this type of play is not reviewable, there would be 20 more reviews a game

I think it was the right call. It was an amazing catch, especially the way he got hammered, but as an official, if you saw a guy trying to haul in a 1 handed catch drifting towards the sideline, I don't think you can give it to him, especially since he wasn't even close to getting any body part in bounds.

Personally, I think he would have come down in bounds watching all the replays etc...but as a judgement call from the official on the sideline, I don't think there's any way he could have given a TD on that.

Im just saying though, there is no way to tell definatively. I give it a 50/50 chance that he would have gotten both feet in bounds. His momentum was going pretty good, he still had to get both feet and control with both feet. It was a great catch, i would have loved to see if he would have gotten them both down, but even with replay you cant say 100% that he would have.
