12 hours in, so far really good and it's actually somewhat diffcult. Dungeons are pretty straight forward but the enemies kinda hurt. Battle system wins

oh crap. Didn't realize it was out. Gonna have to run and get it. I have beat like 6 final fantasy's so far and played all of them for the most part starting from tactics.

FF1,2,3 for nes
4,5,6 for snes
a few for the gameboy
that crystal adventures one

ff7 (i can't remember if 8 came out before tactics or not)

12 was just a guess, but i'm pretty sure Tactics was double digits for sure

The Final Fantasy 12 release date is October 31st. I'm not sure how Jay got a copy already.

Final Fantasy Tactics came out a little over a year after FF7 and before FF8. Cloud is an unlockable character in FFTactics.

No I made this thread because I think the game is cool and the last 3 FF games have sucked cock so I was just getting the word out in case anyone was curious. Also, something new for the FF players post Super Nintendo, it's actually kinda hard. It's kind of a bitch managing money and armor and accesories from getting my ass kicked in dungeons and such. The towns look incredible. Graphically I would say it's on par with anything I've seen on 360 and better than some. It's just been a while since a game has really impressed me this much. And they have this thing called mob hunt where you do side jobs for cash by making contracts and killing target creatures.

So yeah, rest assured Tacks I'm not trying to take away any internet cool guy points from you so go ahead and keep hitting up middle aged net mothers.

my girlfriend is younger than me, and i'm far from middle-aged

and yeah i've played the game and no it doesn't look like the 360 and so far it's far from hard

I'm stuck on the part where you have to go across all those oil towers with those little ewok guys that keep jumping you. I got to the bird boss at the end of that and so far he jablowns my party.

the last FF that i played and enjoyed was 9. X and X-2 were god awful and now i will probably never play a new ff again.

The battle system is pretty much just a slightly tweaked FFXI. That being said, so far its not to bad.
