Jast went there last night to claim some goblin ears. Highpass is gone now. Forever changed. Its grey now, rounded out, and above all, lame. I wonder if Beef is still there?

Atleast Highkeep is still the same, for now... Still got My Shiny Brass Halberd tho after all these years. :dunno:

i can understand the need to update the zones, but it upsets me to enter a zone and nobody is in it.

i disagree, EQ doesnt have the player base to keep adding 15 bullshit zones with every expansion. it just makes the game look like one giant deserted piece of shit.

EQ's time has come and gone. Fewer and fewer oldschool players left in the game. The playerbase is getting thinner and thinner. They are changing the old zones we so fondly remember. Anyone else remember Paw before the change?

Sandi you say you love EQ still but you post quite contradicting thoughts that seem to go against what you say.

Don't get me wrong.I am sure there is still fun to be had in EQ in many ways. But EQ is well past it's prime and each year it gets worse and worse.Quite a few times over the last few years I have wished that I could just pick up where I left off or restart but then I realize it would never be the same.I even played for a bit on the Loreplay servers (I think thats what they were called) but only lasted till level 30 or so. The feeling just wasn't there. The zones were so different from what I remembered. I was looking soooo forward to going to Oasis (as an example) and fighting crocs and seeing SG's and such. It had SG's and crocs but little of the zone seemed the same to me.

one thing that the Combine's Release did for the Original eq was quest fixes. They had to go thru alot of old content and fix quite a bit. I for one will never stop EQ. The sole reason is that i always come back for 3 or 4 months every year and play. Its memories that bring me back, ill watch some fantasy movie, and it will make me remember eq somehow, and ill be back on hehe.
