But firefox still owns because it blocks rightwing_desecrating_christian_site01
Oh well

I haven't setup foxmarks yet (waiting on new laptop) (it's also kinda funny that it needs an addon since netscape and IE have been able to do this functionality for like 10 years)
the sidebar i don't care for at all

I love firefox.

Netscape and IE have been able to share your bookmarks on two different machines? I use it to keep my work bookmarks and home the same. How would you do this with IE?

Naethyn wrote:I liked the x in the corner vs each tab because I've trained myself to click that spot when I want to close a tab. Now I have to recognize what tab I have open. Aim for this little shit circle and close the window. Plus its much easier to close multiple tabs if the box is stationary.
Btw Mindia, what I was trying to say is you sigs are gay and I'm just so thankful that firefox lets me block them so easily.

My sigs are never gay, but if that's what you think, then I'm glad you can block them.

runamonk wrote:Yeah that's not exactly what foxmarks does.
It will sync up your existing bookmarks with a single location (http or ftp). So while I'm at work and not connected to my home network, foxmarks will go out to my ftp site and check to see if my bookmarks have been modified, then it'll merge in the changes to my bookmarks at work and vice versa. It's pretty fast too.
So while what you're suggesting would work while at home, it won't work while on the go.

no, it's pretty much exactly the same thing
except the foxmarks forces you to store your bookmarks on a public ftp server

Nope, I have mine on my private FTP server. You can use their service and upload to their server or you can choose one of your own. I use mine on my personal domain. It works great.
