Hehehe...no worries Lyion. I just figured Sanc's bad rep was merited and moved on. ;)

The SS bp incident will always be fresh in my memory i remember fighting trak and talking to shadowspear at same time when we were clearing down to trak i remember talking to one of sanct's officers asking if we can have SS apply to guild and give him a trial run on more raids and that he told me he wanted to change his rep,

soon as we engaged Trak he sent me a tell asking me to ask Kyojitsu if he could have the Singing steel BP if it dropped i said i would ask, and soon as trak went down i clicked on corpse to hold it for a officer so in the few secs i held the corpse i decided to check loot and saw ss bp i told shadowspear it dropped, then a officer said to get off corpse so i did then a few other sanct members got on the corpse they annouced loot then after some shouting to get off the fucking corpse i saw in guild Who took the SS BP? so i sent ss a tell saying someone ninja the BP i think he repplied with a Really? then i looked around saw him in the corner of traks lair then he dissapeared i sent him another tell and got could not find player message, and the rest was history.

Sigh

Post by randallman »

Martif here.... Damn those were the good old days... I remember that Trakanon kill.

Sup Kyo? Long time!

Kabakaba.

All yall mofos!

Lotsa good memories... Some bad...

I hear that EQ is now 'macroworld'. I have a bud that plays like 6 characters at once with 'auto bards' and 'auto clerics'. Sounds gimpy to me :)

Rock on. I've all but retired from MMO's. Every one that I try fails to even come CLOSE to the experience I had during the pre-kunark and ROK times in EQ :)

Holy shit, Hey Martif. How are ya man?

I feel the same. Nothing MMORPG wise compares to EQ ROK times. I had a blast, but until there's an MMORPG paradigm shift, I think I wont be seriously involved.

I still want the EQ backend app released and the ability to run private servers. The EMU sucks. Something with actual support etc. would be fantastic. Even if you can only run a couple zones at a time.

Instanced private servers, with the ability to create your own quests and use their monsters and art.

It'd be NWN the way it should've been done.

Sounds like Winter's Roar.
Havn't checked it out myself, but the folks over at Monkly-Biz who have tried it seem to like it.

I want the ability to run my own server, though, and to have an easy customizable GUI for creating dynamic content and my own world.

I want my own Winter's Roar, or I want the ability for many to do this, and to create the AD&D session that is the holy grail of Online playing

I am... :) You should shoot me an e-mail or sompn Kyo :) randall@wasteland.org.

I tried the SWG thing. I didnt dig it. You say it's gotten better? I did the master doc/partial pistoleer thing... I hated how they never had the damn factories working right (constantly bugged out and needed resetted), and the entire grind for keeping good subcomponents for making good stim C's and D's :p Plus, it sucked cause you could never get anything better than you could buy, save a few rare and random dropped items that you needed alot of (barrels and capacators I think, from lok?) or those dragon-type-monster parts. Mebe I could go back. But then again, I spend most of my time working now.

I went from UNIX Systems Engineer working for Mark Andressen (creator of netscape) and Tim Howes (creator of LDAP) and Ben Horowitz (former CEO of Oracle)... to AUTO MECHANIC... WHEE! Gotta love mid-life career changes :)

You? Whassup?

I guess Tossica no am remember me. I still remember the time you needed a monk for hate, but I didnt wanna pull unless Amenta could get at least a chance for a cleric BP :) Oh the fun times!

Zanchief.. we knew eachother, but I dont think we got along well or something. No idea why or whatever. Actually, I think you quit sanct right before I joined :)

Kaba, I remember you alot :) Damn leezurd :)

Anyway, peace... Catch yall on the flip side, I guess :)

Yeah well, I didnt get laid and she was a cunt :)

I miss ROK hate raids. Easier than pre-kunark, but still not cake. I think people do them with 1 person playing 3 chars now :)

I still have memorized (WHY GOD WHY) all of the old hate buildings and spawns. The church, maestros temple, the revenants, the ire ghast room, blah blah blah. I hated that ire ghast building. Like 3 DT's in a row :)

OMG, there's a name from the past. Syndsygautonom. Him and Arabaal were like RL buds, right?

Yeah, I remember now. You and I had the iksar war vs. human monk ego thing goin on for quite a few raids. You bastard training me with those undeads! ;) I was beating your ass for the very simple reason that back then, monkies owned warriors ;) NERFBAT!

I still remember the monkie BOTB. I forget who beat me up... damn. It wasnt Kaynn. It wasnt meto... it was that european dude.. grr... cant remember name!

Done man. I honestly can't say if SWG has gotten that much better, but I have friends who say it has, and I'm interested in trying the new expansion. Sent you an email.
