Why would you want to marry an unemployed guy who still lives at home and has no desire to get a job? All you will be doing is working to support while he stays home and game.

And this is exactly where my :ugh: face came from.

I explained this already. No day cares around that will watch children under 6 months. There is one but it is so expensive that I would literally be working to pay for the day care of just him plus a little left over for gas. I'll wait until we move, thanks.

I'm still curious how that's any different than from what she's doing. It's ok for you to judge her for the same thing you're doing basically? I just found that funny. If anything, her situation is less ridiculous than yours.

I'm not working because I CANT. I would if I could but I cant. I would fucking love to get out of the house and make some extra Christmas money, but I cant.
I mean, if you want to watch my son for less than 250 a week, I'll go get a job, until then, I'll stay home.

I really don't think you want me to get into this. Do you think you're the only one in the entire world in this situation? And yet you have the balls to sit there and call out Juls for doing what she's doing even though she has no dependants?

Anytime I hear someone say they "can't" do something I just roll my eyes. 9 times out of 10 it's because they don't feel like it, or maybe just like surfing the internet all day and relying on other people who actually work to support them.

Here's an idea, keep your legs closed till you can afford it.

Well, I can, but what would be the point? I would have so little of the money NOT going to day care for just the one child that it isnt worth it.
I stopped working in the first place because Gid said he made enough that I didnt need to. The only reason we are tight on money this month is because Gid quit his job for the Army, but the Army pushed his BCT date back, which is making us go longer without a paycheck.

I just dont see the logic behind going to Denmark to see a "boyfriend" who has already made it clear that the video games are more important that she is, unwilling to get a job, so much so that he cut people out of his life that were urging him to get one. On top of this, she is looking into marriage requirements.

Uh try re-reading what I was saying there.

And it's obvious you think what you're doing is fine, so yeah...

For someone with minimal work experience (I've had few jobs but I kept them forever) and no college background, my choice of high paying jobs isnt that great. So Burger King isnt that far off, I was planning on being a cashier somewhere. Or I could go back to being a file bitch at the dentist's office, but thats much further away so more of my paycheck would be going towards gas.

I would totally watch your kid for less than that. My cousin only charges around $150/wk per kid. I don't know what your living situation is (house, apartment whatnot) but could you get licensed for doing daycare? I thought about it but I don't know that legally I could being I live in an apartment. Pretty decent money and you don't have to leave and can keep your own kids there. If you're looking for extra Christmas money it might not be a bad idea if you can swing it.
