I'm going to have to agree with that. Unless they are babies. I see so many kids at work far less well behaved than my own, it's hard for me to even suck it up and have my 5 yr. old's friends play here for an hour because they all act like satan.

Watching other people's kids play really makes me reconsider how "bad" I think my daughter is. Never once has she taken a toy, pushed anoter child, hit another child, thrown a temper tantrum when soomeone else asks her to do something. She just tells me no when I say its time for bed and she now yells at me when I try to put her in a pull up.

Why do all of you stupid ass parents say, "Oh I know my kids are good when I see how other people's kids act." Newsflash, every fucking kid, unless they are a mentally retarded mute, are obnoxious, whiny smart mouthed assholes who will remain that way until they die. I hope every child under the age of 12 dies today.

Screw you, my kids aren't. Taxx can probably even testify to the fact that my kids were good almost every day he was out here, with the exception of when my oldest ran off upstairs with the neighbor's kid without telling him.

Unless you timewarped your children in from the 20s, where children were quiet and polite, said yes sir and maam and respected all elders, I call bullshit. Your kids are no better than anyone elses, they just are also no worse.

All kids are going to be kids and doing stupid shit every now and then. No amount of beating is going to change that. With that being said, anytime IF's kids were being "supervised" (it wasn't playtime for them) they were basically perfect gentlemen. I don't recall a time she had to tell them NO or not to do something more than once. I've been around some pretty nutso kids, my brother even, and yeah theres a ton out there who deserve to have their asses handed to them, however not all of them do.

Adults don't act like adults did in the 20's either, why should children.

Paul is pretty successful from what I hear. If I find out his dad beat him, I'm beating my kids.

you should nanny that way you get to still be with your kids and get paid for it. they can make very good money. put yourself in the paper offering to keep children in your home or talk to some people you know. rich moms always like the idea of a mom keeping her own children as well as theirs. just an idea, you don't really have to license yourself for a couple or three children. plus your daughter might make a playmate =)

I don't really like other people's kids either and I don't mean to sound snooty, but my son is a good kid and he makes other people's kids look really bad.

A brick or firepoker to the head or dodging the occasional full cup of coffee flying at me, if that is a beating, I guess I was beat. I would say it was more like, he had no patience for children and when that fuse was lit, whatever he was holding usually was launched at me.
