just because you have a degree doesnt mean you are smarter than someone else. A lot of the time it just means you can sit still for anywhere from 50 minutes to 2 and a half hours and copy stuff out of a book.

Anything I've learned I learned post college pretty much and the stuff I learned during college wasn't because of curriculum but because I was dirt fucking poor and had to support an apartment, tuition and food.

read a real book..not just applied science, but some actual studies of human behavior and the structure of society...

The point I'm trying to make is that the world isn't going to be spelled out to you in a class or in any number of books. Those things are there for you to cross reference. In the end you kinda gotta be there to experience it for yourself and you form your own opinion. If you're willing to let people spoonfeed you info and claim it as your own without question then I feel sorry for you. I also feel sorry that just because someone disagree's with you that you're ready to slap an ignorance label on them just because you have no idea how to back up any of your stances and beliefs. You're also stupid enough to not recognize your opinion as something that others might not consider fact.

Another attempt to own you? Everyday you wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and think about what your life is like you own yourself.

It isn't opinion. The shit I have posted here, I have learned from my classes. You can choose to believe in one thing if you wish, But I am going to choose to believe that the blatant disarray of half-truths that have been forced on me for my entire life are not going to control my world anymore. I will not sit idly by and pretend I don't see what is going on. And I don't give a shit what bigiots think of my opinion.

One last time. Just because someone told you something, doesn't make it true. Much of sociology is opinion based, as in the opinions, while they carry much weight, are NOT FACTUAL. You can generalize, but it is NOT FACTUAL. FACTUAL IS SOMETHING THAT CAN BE PROVEN 100% OF THE TIME.
