From all the whippings, they should have thicker skin I agree. Racist people exist, I usually get told by my wife quit a few times when Im in public saying "Yo nigga" on the phone to quiet down. Jokes are funny (generally) because there's some grain of truth involved in the humour

I'm not saying anyone is being racist

I'm saying that if a black guy tells a black joke to a black audience, that audience laughs

if a white guy was to tell the same joke to the same audience, the audience would freak out and say he was being racist

A white comedian making jokes about black people to the right audience will get a laugh. Ever heard of Sarah Silverman?

A black person making jokes about white dudes to the wrong audience will be heckled mercilessly. That's my point. If you think people don't care about the content of black comedians jokes, feel free to offer me the name of someone who you think is racist and has bypassed all criticism. If you can't provide me with a name please feel free to kill yourself at the quickest possible convenience.

I'm talking about exactly the same audience~

blindfold the audience, you'd likely get same reaction

let them see the person speaking, and depending on colour it's humour, or racism, despite the fact that blindfolded it's probably funny

Tikker is right.

Perfect example is the Fuzzy Zoeller statements about fried chicken and collared greens at the Masters tournament after Tiger won. He was obviously joking but the comments got blown out of the water.

If a black NBA player made fun of Steve Nash in a similar way, it would be laughed at and no big deal / reprocussions.
