See also the recent demonstration in Turkey against the Pope. 20,000 protestors, wearing headbands with islamic slogans, waving Turkish flags, beating drums, etc. But, and this is the important thing, it was a completely peaceful protest. No violence whatsoever. They felt their faith was offended, wanted to get their message across, and did so in a completely peaceable manner.

It's that same type of protest toward American policy that we need to handle with feathered hands, and in some extent to encourage. IE anything we can do to support non jihad based dissent even if it doesn't agree with us would be good.
