They get out for Christmas break. Army is big on Christmas being family based and all. All training stops from the middle of the month to the first of the year. So I get him for 2 weeks. :vv:

Damn when did this all change? Not saying you're making it up - but holy shit... When I was in basic training (which was in fact during christmas) they kept our happy asses right there. In fact for a Christmas gift, the fuckers made us march for 10 miles in full gear. Now, they're letting everyone go home for two weeks?
