Dude that owns team E just dropped Joe Johnson and Josh Smith for Stephen Jackson and Andre Miller :wtf: .

I'm first on the waiver... obviously those guys are going to be snagged straight up... who has the bigger upside? I need to decide in 2 days! Someone pick for me quick! Joe Johnson or Josh Smith! I think I need assists more BUT blocks would be l33t too! Help!!!

wtf at team E..haha.

i say joe johnson for reliability. is it a roto league or h2h?

imho..team ranks:

1) F - wallce + kirilenko + dirk + arenas + kidd = game over
2) C - might struggle a bit with 3's but real consistent performers in there.
3) A
4) B
5) D
6) E - amare seems f'ed up. camby will miss at least 20+ games. webber? ouch. Team E is team injury.

A, B, D are pretty equal. will dominate in some cats but lacking in others too

Roto, although it's a strange league... only 1 center but 4 utility spots, which pissed me off because I didn't notice that til after the draft. But w/e.

Yeah... team E was a weird draft... I really don't think he knows basketball. The fact that he just dropped his 5th and 6th pick for a couple of free agents sort of shows that. Team D was crazy too. He drafted Melo at 5th when there was like, WAY better people ahead of him...

I think Team C's success will be made off McGrady's back... that'll be the edge on that team... otherwise the teams are SO close.

Thx for ranks... anyone else?

I'd guess vonk is team B

I'd rank

F
A
C
B
E (with Josh and Joe)
D

I like A a lot more than Rotj.

If you are B Vonk, I'd go with Smith just because rebounding and blocks might be more of a concern I think.

3. S. Marion Los Mavericks
4. K. Bryant Jb Ballers
5. K. Garnett NBA Frogs
6. D. Nowitzki Glorious Goats
Round 2

2. E. Brand NBA Frogs
3. C. Bosh Jb Ballers
4. C. Paul Los Mavericks
5. A. Iverson The Lebrons

1. Y. Ming ND Ballers
2. R. Allen The Lebrons
3. T. Duncan Los Mavericks
4. P. Pierce Jb Ballers
5. A. Stoudemire NBA Frogs
6. A. Kirilenko Glorious Goats
Round 4
1. J. Kidd Glorious Goats
2. V. Carter NBA Frogs
3. J. O'Neal Jb Ballers
4. T. McGrady Los Mavericks
5. C. Billups The Lebrons
6. J. Richardson ND Ballers
Round 5
1. L. Odom ND Ballers
2. B. Diaw The Lebrons

I'm going to dump C.Maggette for Joe Johnson. I think I need points and 3s more than I need blocks and rebounds... with all the big men on my team, I should do well with rebounds and blocks... if you look at the other teams, they hardly drafted centers... nobody even planned for injuries... yeah, Yao is the greatest, and Big Ben rules... but if they go down, you have NO backup. PLUS, they did the stupid 100 games per position thing, so we can rotate in and out like crazy... can't do that so much if you don't have so many 5 eligible players.

Apparently, the guy who runs team E is Captain Movetastic... he's move/trade happy in EVERY league. I went and talked to a few of the other guys and they showed the Funimation football league and the E-guy has already made something like 70 moves already :eyecrazy: . Suprisingly, he's like, 7th out of 15 teams though.

Yeah, but you wouldn't dump your 5th and 6th pick for a couple of free agents... on day 2.

holy shit...

the guy that dumped Joe Johnson and Josh Smith just dumped half his team for a bunch of Mavs that were riding free agency... Stack, Devin and Dampier. He tried to trade me Vince Carter for Dirk, which is obviously laughable, so I thought... gee... this guy really wants to build an all-mavs fantasy team so... let's see how badly he wants Dirk. So I offer Dirk and Chris fucking Kaman :ugh: (this is a 1-C league so 5s aren't THAT valuable) for Vince Carter and Elton Brand  . He accepts within 1 hour.

This was done on the weekend so I'm really thinking that nobody will notice in time to protest to the commish.

Oddly though...

Team D is absolutely DESTROYING us. He's at 32.5 points right now... out of 6 teams, meaning 36 is the highest point total. He was at 34 for most of the season. I'm chalking it up to an early explosion of some players that I'm not expecting to produce forever... but... still... he shouldn't be killing us THAT badly. Everyone else is in the mid 20s and then the All mavs team is like, 8 points... but I have a feeling he'll hover at 6 points for the rest of the season... wtf was he thinking.

Team F because of Carlos Boozer. He was in Highschool when I was in like 7th grade or some shit. Played as a bear in Juneau Alaska, where I lived. He was a G then, at duke, and now~

Yeah, I dumped Roy for him a couple weeks ago.

If you look at the dates those rosters were posted, they are pretty out of date now.

My team (team F) now looks like this:

Gilbert Arenas
Elton Brand
Jason Kidd
Joe Johnson
Vince Carter
Andrei Kirilenko
Gerald Wallace
Carlos Boozer
Brevin Knight
Mehmet Okur
Al Harrington
Andre Igoudala
Monte Ellis
Brad Miller
Corey Maggette

You have team surprise stud, with Randolph and Boozer both playing out of their minds. All you needed was Deron Williams for the trifecta.

Your backcourt is weak. We have opposing problems. I have probably strongest 1-3 in league, but probably weakest 4-5... well, weakest 5 anyway... 4s aren't THAT bad.

Bibby has been completely ass for me. I thought he'd have a great year with a new coach and Martin playing well, but he's been terrible. Kobe starting out injured and getting banged up again last night is killing me.

The whole year has been surprising TBH...

Like, I thought that Xaiv and I had the best draft... he and I were the only people that drafted FOUR players on the Can't Cut List. Rotj, you, your brother and Arlos had 3 and everyone else got 2. It's been a weird year, for sure.

But then... we JUST got into December... no need to get excited. I'm not buying into Utah's ability to maintain this streak forever... I think that the normal players will make a comeback, brand, kobe, wallace, etc.
