Uhh actually... no. The majority of slaves brought to the colonies (later to become the U.S of A) were traded by other Africans for supplies and goods. The various tribes would war with each other - capture each other - and trade each other off.
The idea that whity went over there with net in hand and went on a safari of capturing slaves is just not true - never happened. Regardless of what you may have learned in history class.
