Any of you think they'll do at all well this season, or should I just start feeling depressed right now?

They won't make the playoffs... but they won't be a disgustingly horrible team. Probably 10th in the west, finishing with a 36-46 record. KG will REALLY start asking to be traded at the end of the season, but he won't get it.

It seems like he wants to right the ship in minny. He has not intention of asking for a trade from what I hear. Classy guy.

He hasn't yet... but everyone seems to think that's only a matter of time.

I thought he'd get traded to the bulls last year, pop the predictions thread from october 2005 and you'll see. McHale should have done it then, he could have probobaly gotten both NY picks and either Gordon or Deng.

NY's 2007 pick also goes to Chicago, which might net them Greg Oden. That would make them the scariest 'young' team... possibly ever.

Even if it's not Oden it will be Noah or Splitter or some other stud. Next years draft is going to be crazy deep.

Yeah... NBADraft.net said it's almost another 03 class. That rules.

The end to the Raptors / Mavs game was hilarious.

That game sucked. I didn't "really: think we'd win, but we were putting a few wins together and Dirk left the game early and you guys were playing like shit. We lost it at the beginning of the 4th quarter.

Side not to my boy D Murr talking that last second shot, we currently hold, and have held, the NBA record for most 3s in consecutive games. It's like 4 season now or something. The Toronto announcers were talking about how the streak ends at blah blah blah then out of nowhere BAM!

Spiced it up a bit.

Your team is so deep it's fucking ridiculous Vonk.

On a side not, anyone been reading Simmons digging himself in another hole with his rookie predictions?

By the way, Morrison's NBA career has been a tour de force so far: He's one of the best streak shooters in the league; his fist-pump/screaming routine is already as good as anything that Derrick from the "Real World/Road Rules Challenge" ever pulled off; he's already caught fire down the stretch in road wins against San Antonio and New Jersey; and his hair/mustache combo, for all the jokes we've made over the years, remains one of those sports gifts that keeps on giving. Just a delightful draft pick. You can't tell me the Blazers and Raptors' fans aren't jealous right now.

Yea, I'm so jealous of Adam 'Mike Miller' Morrison~

Yeah... The mavs are 2nd on the list. The Raptors have something like 631 games in a row, we have like 622. They kept showing the 593rd game where we were held all the way til the last minute when Diop sunk his one and only 3 in the season... pretty hilarious... kept the streak alive. We thought we would take the crown away from ya'll until that last second shot. That's what made it especially funny for both sides.

The east is WIDE open right now. Seriously, ANYBODY could make the playoffs... even the Knicks. It truly is the worst conf in the history of the league. I can't believe we lost last night, but whatever...

Washington, 106-97. Arenas went off, as he always does -at home-.

Sucks, Washington has been playing like shit this year too. Arenas is like the disapointment of the year. I guess it was bound to happen.

I think the only way the timberwolves could do good this year is if they can give there rookies some more playin time and hope for some good in the 2nd half of hte season, but givin you numberone draft choice 6mins, they tend to do that alot. Wish they would do some better drafting if they dont want to play there rookies.

Minny hasn't drafted well. One of the few positives for throwing away so many 1st rounders on Joe Smith~

they still have some young talent though, i would say they've made worse decisions in picking up free agents then they have in drafting

jaric and mike james... just bad

jaric is horrid, but james has been stepping it up the past week, but that is just one week so he has not proven him self, and davis has done alot worse than Wally ever did. Bad trade there

Mike James is streaky, but he's not as bad as Snero makes him out. He's a shoot first PG, but atleast he shoots pretty good %.
