EQ pvp was all kinds of messed up, if you knew all the tricks and shit. The whole being able to start a cheal, run around and then have it land trick made clerics almost impossible to beat. Course, clerics had crap for dps

I don't think we ever actually duelled

and yes, being able to get back onto that spot you start the cheal was mucho gay

I'm not sure I ever beat a cleric(not one that had even remotely a clue anyways) except maybe during that period where rogues could equip a bow and shoot throwing boulders~

The PG-13 rule says no, but I didn't mod it cuz you said cunt, I modded it cuz you called Telegareth a cunt. When you fling shit at someone in a moderated section it, well, gets moderated. I don't care much for the pg-13 rule as I don't think it really applies on NT since everyone here is an adult or they don't care (Dylan). If it really is a problem for anyone then I could enforce that rule too but no one seems to be complaining.

the main issue was that Berton disliked Ronald so much that any idea that came from Ron was instantly veto'd, regardless of whether or not it was a brilliant idea, or not

I wouldn't say I hated Ron. I definitely respected his skills in game. I also respected his skills at manipulating people. I think my feelings towards Ron were a combination of mistrust and fear of being seen as weak versus him in any confrontation. He had a lot of folks under his thumb in the GPU days. I was quite proud of the fact that he named his WoW beta guild Berton sucks or some such.

I guess I could have handled the Ron situation better. Oh well water under the bridge. One thing I will say is that for the most part Ron and I put our differences aside when it came to making stuff dead. That was one of the things that kept LoS on top for so long. Although we had a LOT of personality conflicts when it came down to killing the MOB we did it and then went back to being assholes to each other.

Sad to see LoS go, I still talk about my LoS days occasionally with my troops who play WoW. I am happy to have even been accepted into the ranks, and shocked that I was allowed to lead the guild. I may not have been the best Paladin or GM but I am proud to have left my mark on the guild and cherish the memories and frienships I made there.

I still scan the boards (NT and LoS forums) occasionally. I just have a lot of other things going on in my life these days. The nostolgia is nice though, and I figured with LoS shutting down I might as well toss my 2 cents in.
