NT needs more Conservatives
and Libertarians to help balance out the liberalism. I say we submit the NT to Oprah for greater recognition.

Barry Goldwater. Now there was a real conservative.
Had he been in office these days, he'd have bitchslapped Bush bg time over his policies.
Goldwater was a hawk, but even he wouldn't have invaded Iraq. He sure as hell wouldn't have stood for the massive run-up of the Deficit that Bush did.
See, Goldwater was a fiscal conservative, not a social conservative. His entire focus was small government; the social issues of abortion, church in schools, etc. were all things he felt that the government shouldn't even be involved in whatsoever.

The problem is that the liberals are louder. Ergo, you notice us more. I seriously think it's 50/50. You certainly complain about the lack of support with a greater frequency. I should make a post every other week begging for more astronomy nerds or sailing afficionodos.

I've been wanting to get a *good* telescope. Mead makes some nice ones.
