Garg, your constant harping on prejudice and sterotypes is getting very irritating. Have you ever stopped to think that the barrier between the races will continue to exist because people keep drawing attention to it? This topic has been beaten into the ground, and then beaten some more, so I'm sorry to get into it again, but please realize that instead of opening minds and helping to educate, you are potentially doing more damage. I know your intentions are good, but there is a good reason for the saying "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions."
Take your Black Student Association as an example, please. Though the purpose of it is to give Black Students and the Token White Girl a common thread to interact and relate, and whatever other activities you do, other students may feel excluded because there is not a similar association open for them. As was pointed out in an earlier thread, there's probably not a White Student Association. What this does is it emphasizes the difference in the races and possibly creates tension where none may have existed before. Now maybe the white students start to feel a little jealous towards the black students, and start to harbor racist thoughts towards them. Perhaps one day these will grow, and the students will act upon them. The black community will feel the need to protect itself by creating more societies and special laws, and the cycle will continue.
This is all dramatized as an example, but the basic moral of the story is that it would be really nice if you'd please stop calling everyone a racist and pointing out that this sterotype or that sterotype is unfair to a certain community. You are not the elected spokeswoman for those people. You can not speak for the communities as a whole for what they do and do not find offensive. I think it's fantastic that you are so open and accepting, and it is exactly what the world needs, but people can only draw on their own life experiences to make these conclusions, and being nagged to death by an internet girl is only going to cause harm.
