I've got to say that it must be real if there are talks of the govt. paying to try to learn this. Somethings got to be going on here.

Mind reading is a whole different world than "ESP".

I don't believe mind reading to be possible as of yet. I do believe ESP to be in the realm of possibility though.

Being able to somehow intercept someone's brain activity from an outside source mentally, and subsequently interpret said activity on your own, is quite the fucking feat.

ESP (Extra Sensory Perception) implies you have an "extra" sense other than the five "normal" senses to gain information about your surroundings with. There are numerous different forms of ESP and they vary in degree of possibility.

Anyone who claims something to be impossible when they clearly are possible is the worst form of ignorant.

ESP is more feasible to me than anything involving ghosts. The existence of ghosts requires too many leaps of faith to be taken seriously. Mind reading? Nah... being able to tell what someone is thinking by being able to notice subtle changes in behavior, etc,? That I can buy.

If we are only using about 3% of our brains potential then who is to say that we can't read minds?? Isn't thoughts just little electical pulses??? I think that we could pick up on that with our brains if thats true. I don't know... It sounds logical to me.

I think the definition of "ghost" you seem to be using personally, is ridiculously simplistic.

If you're thinking ghost in terms of a sentient being, I would largely agree with you though.
