No, most of the TW were useless asshats.

A good sized handful weren't at most. I had the same play times as them for years when I was younger so I played with them A LOT. I only continued to play with a few who were pretty fucking cool.

The rest were useless retards who had me never understanding how they worked cohesively in a guild at all.

I think some of the taiwanese players were some of the most amusing people there were - hilarious people, some of them. eellee, carriestin, wanlaenwar being 3 of my absolute favorite people in eq

some of the taiwanese players were absolute bs though - i remember alldisillusion helping some cleric KS babietricken's ragefire when we had been there for hours (course alldisillusion was way better geared than me at the time and no way my manaburn would've done shit, nor would we have survived - our whole raid wasn't there, it was just a single group of them but they 1-2 grouped him relatively easily) - then pretending to not know what was going on, just kept on saying zzzzzzzz

that kinda shit was really annoying.

I don't think it would've bothered me nearly as much if it was sincere - but a lot of people used it depending on the situation and what it could get them out of, and spoke fine (though a smidge broken) english otherwise.
