Sysco pays ok. I work for a specialized division of Sysco called Sygma. We make a lot more than they do. Sysco is a union shop. They are with the Teamsters, and they top out at $23 an hour. I wouldn't do what I do for only $23/hr.

lol drivers dont get paid specifically by wage only, experienced drivers with a couple routes make 60-80k a year.

We are on component pay. We get paid on a number of factors such as weight, miles, number of stops, etc. $60k/yr. is the absolute minimum you would make at Sygma. Some guys are making $2200-2400/wk. They are animals though and live for their job.

He gets to make a huge positive difference in a lot of people's lives. I think he has some weight to throw around in the social benefits impact of chosen employment, actually.
