Doesn't it defeat the purpose of posting a picture of your desktop if you alter it for the picture? I read this post, took a picture, and posted, messengers and all. I'd probably have done the same even if I had porn up or something :hercules:

I think the point is some people might not want their AIM names up there - I know I keep mine private since I don't like excessive numbers of "HI LOLZ ROFLCOPTERZ WHATS UP DAWG!!!" windows popping up when I'm trying to talk to someone. :dunno:

My background is plain black.

In the secondary toolbar on the lefthand side it has an icon for SAP, IE, my common network folders, Lotus Notes, Lotus Sametime, TOPs (Pallet Configuration Design program), Label Matrix (design barcodes np), Windows Media Player, and of course, Excel.

I use the Windows Classic Skin, so everything looks like Windows 2k.

It is plain and simple and streamlined to the point where I can access anything I need depending upon network latency in usually under 1 minute.
