The real question is how long will it stay fun. My problem is WOW, while being the best mmo out, is still essentially the same shit, different day, unless you are a fanbois Blizzard lifer.

I like WOW, and it holds my attention longer than other MMOs, but I get bored pretty fast. I did the raiding thing for a while, but I guess I've spent too much time on the gerbil wheel. I played EQ for years and DAOC for an extended time, but the clone games afterwards don't seem to hold my attention.

Maybe Zennish is right, and I am old.

I think it's like all the other MMO's

it's fun when you have a consistent group to play with, and sucks when you end up soloing, or in pickups a lot

I'm flacky when I play MMOs. I can play super hardcore for about 4 months then I burn out and quit completely.

That's why WoW is great for me. I can catch in 4 months time and quit all over again!

I'm having the most fun I've ever had in WoW at the moment. Started over fresh after 3-60's on Garona and went to a pvp server with some RL friends on Jaedenar. The pvp is pretty fierce and leveling can be a pain at times, but for some reason I'm just having a lot more fun.

I have no idea who you are and were in EQ, but if you are alliance and want to organize a match or something, that can be arranged.
