for some reason, all these things say he did do it. like the songs he writes, (is he lying?) the words he uses (sometimes they have been verbatim to things that stand out from that part of the past) and i still have no story. I still don't have the complete story about what happened. it's full of holes and stories that they told. he says, it's all in my head and i have to let it go. that's what I'm having a hard time doing.

What gives you reason to suspect that he's been cheating online?

it's not cheating online. it was a long story, you can find it on here, in mindia's dating thread. read it if you wish, though i warn you it's incredibly long. makes sense though if you read it.

from what I recall that situation wasn't online.. it was in the same room with the girl

Ash.. I've never seen you as an irrational person, a jealous person, or non trusting.. if something doesnt sit right with you there's probably a reason, but if it's your choice to let it go you need to come to grips with the fact that you're letting it go even though you're sure he's lying and you're forgiving him for both the action and the lie - only then can you actually let it go, because otherwise you're going to be trying to convince yourself that you're crazy and it's all in your head and it's your fault, which you shouldn't have to feel if he's at fault - instead of convincing yourself you're crazy, decide if you can forgive it and move on if its true.

So how's the engagement going?

She slept with my best friend while I was passed out in the next room.

Just peachy.

I'm married and I would consider it happy and healthy. We've both had our share of crazy people in our life, we've both been burned and yet we still were able to find someone we love.

Like I said before you have to find someone just as fucked up as you.

you just haven't met the right girl yet, babe

not all women are cunts and not all men are dicks..people react differently to different people...just don't settle for someone who reacts the wrong way to you because you deserve to be happy..just like everyone else deserves to be happy..be patient, there are girls out there who like being treated right:)

you can't lump all women into the same category and still have your opinion count

that would be like saying all men are bible-thumping psychos

More men are shallow then women. Women are just more easily emotionally manipulated. They also tend to cheat because of compassion and from said manipulation. It is a two edged sword in all regards.

The bottom line is if there are any trust issues, it's poison for a relationship. The question after the trust issues are there is are you ok with your partner doing another. If not, then you should get out of the relationship. Surprisingly, many women/men will stay with their partner even if they consciously or subconsciously know somethings going on because of some supposed noble or poetic reason.

The simple truth is that person is getting jobbed and either lacks esteem, respect, or is beholden to the manipulator. It's a pretty black and white area. Once trust is gone and someone cheats, the game is done.
What saves a man is to take a step. Then another step.

Fuck you! I am not shallow!

I just want the person of my dreams to be able to read my mind, be ultra sexy, a knockout dresser, perfect teeth, perfect hair, outstanding in bed, make tons of cash, and will do everything I tell them to.

Is that asking so much?

Asking for maybe 3 out of the you 8 listed wouldn't be asking too much.
