like... it really matters...
The game was a wash... doesn't matter to anyone. Hard to compare a couple bad calls in a meaningless game to the biggest atrocity in NBA officiating history in the Finals.

It wouldn't have been a meaningless game to us. A big win at home to a great team when you have a ton of home games on the sched left. It just sucks when you play good enough to win, but the refs have a different tune in mind.
Just don't say the refs never did anything for you.
Well, come finals time... we'll be sure to remember a meaningless win against a .450 team when the refs are raping us again because Lebron needs to sell sneakers. It balances out, right?

And if I was going to get raped by the refs, I'd much prefer it in a meaningless game than in the finals.
go ahead and disagree with me

Well you are making the comparison about my whining...
I was hardly the only person who whined. National media agreed with me... Simmons, Barkley, Cooper, Stein, Patrick... it was all over the nation - because it mattered. I didn't see a SINGLE MENTION of any 'unfair' reffing from the Mavs/Raptors game, on either side (torontosun, dallasnews, cnnsi, espn, etc). NOBODY ELSE SAW IT. Or cared. So... bias be damned... meaningless game indeed.
To whine about losing a game to someone who you were MOST CERTAINLY SUPPOSED to lose to (we kicked your shit in by 19 points last time) because of bad reffing is just petty... it's silly. I complained because it was the fucking finals. There was no further to go... and the media agreed with me.

That's the point. We were supposed to lose the game coming in and we shouldn't have in the end. There most certainly are people who agree with me, people who saw the game and have eyes, for starters.
I was pissed after the game I don't care anymore now, but don't get all high and mighty like the awesome Mavs have better things to do then travel to Canada to win a game.
We took you to OT the game before last, so it's not like all your games are a cake walk.

It's all I've been asking for.

Actually...
This all stems from the fact that I've been arguing for years about the lack of consistency in officiating... and then he posts this and said, "look, ya'll had a game called in your favor..." (as if it evens out) and I showed how it doesn't. My original years old argument still stands. You are coming into this story at page 300... but Zan and a few others know the history. Hence, "It might be time to stop whining..."
If this had been a game between the Pistons (a good team) and the Mavs, and we had 5 or 6 questionable whistles in a game... (like Sunday's game against the Raptors), it might have grabbed attention. If we were playing the Spurs (a game that most CERTAINLY matters) and we had several whistles blown in our favor, there would have been a LOT of speculation and commentary. However... NOBODY CARED about the Mavs vs Toronto... ergo, no conspiracy theories popup across the web.
If the game mattered, and the calls were inconsistant... FOR EITHER SIDE, I would have 'cared'. So would the media. If the Suns got 20 more whistles against them in a pivotal game against the Mavs... I most certainly would have taken a different stance on this. And Suns fans would have loads of articles and scalding editorials to blast me with. I would totally agree with them. I WANT consistency...
All I'm saying is...
All I ORIGINALLY said was...
Meh, like it really mattered...
And that's not a high and mighty stance... it's just simple numbers. The #1 team in the west playing the #10 team in the east, 45 games before the playoffs... it wouldn't have mattered IF WE LOST and it wouldn't have mattered if ya'll won. It was a wash. I seriously would not have cared if we lost to the poorest officiating since the finals. I've learned to accept that. It's losing in the finals due to that poor officiating that stings. And THAT is the comparison that I've been arguing about.

Uh... okay...
Four games in the finals...
One throwaway game in the first half of the season...
If you think that the comparison is legit than we can just agree to disagree. I'm done banging my head against the wall here.

I agree with him... he's been a disgrace. I'm in danger of 'not' winning my Funimation league because of him.
Also... if Josh Howard isn't on the all-star team this year, some crime has been committed.
