LT was kicking our ass, I wouldn't say too much defense at all.

Overall it came down to shitty playoff playing by SD. They played like they weren't in it for the win.

Actually, given New Englands pitiful roster this year, and San Diego's really scary D and LT, I'd bet he was cheering.

They play in Indy, they get the Pats who've they owned @ New England the last few years, and they get them with a depleted roster.

Indy does not match up well with San Diego. They know Brady quite well and are peaking right now.

Let's face it, New England was overclassed and lucked out in their win at San Diego.

The biggest weapon New England had today was Parker and the sadly biased refs.lol

Given the one person the Refs love more than Brady is Manning, they can't count on that support next week.

no shit tikker...

It's especially bad after upsets... the fanbois were too cowardly to make any bold promises of victory before the game but when the underdog pulls through it's, "SEE?! TOLD YOU! HAHA! EAT THAT MOFACKAS!!" Right... :ugh:

Mavs / Heat... we were supposed to destroy Miami... all of the sudden we lose and there are 500 Cubanos on every corner telling me how wrong I was. :-x

Just like the biggest weapon the Steelers had vs. the Seahawks last year was Stevens and the sadly biased refs right??? =D

Funny how games are seen and how opinion is swayed when it's the team they're pulling for. (This goes for any fan, not just Lyion).

As far as bias goes, while I'm on it, I wouldn't be suprised to see a Saints / Colts superbowl. The city in turmoil vs. the superhuman QB who's never won the big one!!!! What a draw omg.

Or you can have Indy vs. Chicago with 2 black head coaches in the Super Bowl.

The possibility of 2 black head coaches in the super bowl has been a big subplot to alot of sports reporting lately.

I agree 100%

However the black racial card, is still used in reporting to get ratings. As soon as people actually say "you know what, i dont care if the guys skin color is purple, as long as he coaches me to a championship" , they will keep reporting. Its really sad to see that color is still such a big deal.

My question is, if it wasnt so prominent in sports broadcasts, headlining newspapers, and made such a point of NFL teams having to interview at least 1 minority before choosing a coach, would it still "mean something to him"?

Or does the spotlight put on the subject, make it mean something to him.

I think it's more growing up being told you're oppressed cause you're black(whether you are or not) has a big hand in it

/shrug

see it all the time here too with native folk. 1 kid who grew up 3 doors down from me, complete middle class family then once he turned 20 all of sudden he'd been oppressed his whole life and because angry
