newbie F.E.A.R. help

I keep getting to the end of level 2 (Initiation), but every time I jump off the window to run to the end of the level, the stupid girl comes out and kills me. I've read a walk-through, and I've run around the level multiple times and I can't find anything else to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Obviously I'm missing something...

Run away from her. You should drop down facing her I think, so just turn around and the other way.
