Dallas is a solid team, but I can see them losing in a 7 game series to several of the top teams.. And vice versa.

Exactly. Cowboys sucked for years and the Mavs have been THE dominant team (Stars, close 2nd) in town, but you NEVER hear about it. Even now, the fucking radio is STILL 2/3rds Cowboys talk, when the season is fucking over and the only thing to talk about is getting a new assistant special-teams trainer. WTF? Mavs are the top team in the league! Hello?

So yeah... I'll stay rabid because I was there when the Mavs were LUCKY to get their tenth win right before the all-star break - Malone AND Stockton were both sidelined, and we STILL only won by 3. Sigh...

Anyway, I love fans like myself. I LOVE to argue with an impassioned Spurs fan, who ALWAYS won the argument, and can STILL win it because even after we beat them, we STILL couldn't finish it. If Colangelo snags Rashard Lewis or some other big free agent next year... I expect the Raptors to tear through the East and Zan to talk shit all over his conference.

Although... The mavs will still beat them by one point (zing!).

The thing about Toronto fans is we are so beaten down that we really don't know how to react. You'll notice none of us are gloating or calling people out on predictions and what not because we are still a little shocked.

I'm in a wait and see mode until the playoffs role around.
