man, how i ever held my tongue in that guild for so long is beyond me... cool people, but most wouldn't tolerate my un-PC-ishness.

You mis-spelled "fucking stupidity". You and your moronic buddy were probably the two worst players ever admitted to VG. And I say this with the jaundiced eye of experience. You both really stood out among the small group of total dipshits ever admitted and later regretted.

It's amazing, I always found your posts absolutely idiotic and boring, and now to find out you're one half of Dumb and Dumber, the Monk Twins from the Little Yellow Bus - it just vindicates my low opinion of your posts when I had no idea who you were. Bit of a Road to Tarsus moment...

Anyway, the best thing you and Tweedledee did was that hilarious "self-inflicted stupidity" (no other way to describe it, really) corpse-loss that provoked you both into leaving the guild. I really should thank you for it.

I mean, Taxx can be kind of predictable with his insults, but now and then, he comes out with an amazingly brilliant flame. I respect that, he's got a gift. Maybe he needs to be inspired, and most people bore him, I dunno. But now and then, bang, he nails someone. Kudos. He has brains.

I actually had to take off my shoes the first week I was in that guild to count how many times you managed to piss everyone off with your incessant bitching, crying, and moaning that the entire guild wasn't jumping to your every beck and call. For some reason I have this memory of you bragging about your cisco router prowess IRL or some bullshit here on NT... After that, every time I saw some fat, greasy, total loser, in a short sleezed plaid shirt, double fisting a taco bell burrito I call him a "rust". No joke. Right now I have this perfect mental picture of a crisco covered fatman, slamming his ham-hock hands on his keyboard while your jowels quiver with pent up angst and hate as you read this post.

You know what was pretty cool was when we first met in Chardok and you were "pulling" and got like 3 mobs on your ass, and we tried to help you out and you died and blaimed it on us. It was clear as day you were a complete and utter fuckwit. I see nothing has changed.

Did I mention 90 percent of valorguard fucking hated you? They were just so PC no one ever had the cajones to say it to your face. Well... except for goosse and I. There were a few times were verbally assfucked you over tells, which you so righteously deserved. Oh yah.. short of your bitch ass, I never heard anyone complain of my monk skills.. on the other hand, I remember you logging your sand filled pussy bitch ass off right before we were set to engage many a mob because not everything was going exactly according the "Rust fatman manual o' evarquest."

People did complain about your pulling skills, and no-one was particually upset when you left.

And after reading over your old VG posts, i wonder how you manage to get through life with only the nerves that control your muscles randomly firing. Its a medical miracle that you have made it this far.

Since I'm not about to 'pull a Euphoria' <ahem> and post stuff from private VG boards, I won't say anything further about our relative popularities in VG except to note that after 4.5 years I am still in VG, and he is not.

I will also leave it to those I have grouped with to evaluate my skillsets - I have never claimed to be a great shaman, after all. Knowing one's limits is a good thing, no? I've grouped with good players and bad, and I can truthfully say that you two really managed to pull off the combo of being fucking idiots both in playing monks and being guildmates. Now I can't claim to know your 'in game' skills any more - maybe you got a lot better, I can't say. But I sure can say you're still a fucking idiot IRL from your posts here, sir.

As to my l33t tech skills, I don't think I'm particularly worried about the rants of a semi-coherent barely-pubescent who hasn't actually done much of anything with his life. If you want to play some kind of dick-size war on skills, training and credentials, bring it on, punkass.

It's statements of support from people like Kumoe and Uggie that might make you realize that Houston, you do have a problem. It's your personality. Or the lack thereof.

Oh, feel free to keep this thread alive, I like letting you make yourself look stupid. You don't need my help to do that, of course. I may be on some this weekend, you can send me a tell and come train me in Elementals or something, if I'm grinding xp.

Considering what I know of both characters, I find it hard to imagine an effective training by a level 47 necro(Ralph) on a level 65 elementally-flagged shaman(Rust) who spends his little online EQ time lately in the elementals or in the bazzar, or traveling between them. As misunderstanding is virtually assured without an explanation, which would undoubtedly result in more painful-to-read "vapid e-schwantz swinging"... Ralph, as you don't have access to the elementals (nor would your survive your own train attempt there incidentally), you would have to train Rust in the Bazzar (or PoKnowledge, or PoTranquility) and while you can enter those zones, I remind you that you can't aggro mobs in any of them. I point out that aggroing mobs is required to make that "train of epic proportions" you so fearsomely promised.

And for the record, while Rust has generated his fair share of complaints, he has NEVER been either observed or accused of "incessant bitching, crying, and moaning that the entire guild wasn't jumping to [his] every beck and call", and as Valorguards longest-serving officer I can say that with certainty. While Rust generating complaints is indeed a fair and accurate statement in itself (heck lots of people do, you could say that about ME I'm sure), and a good "shot" on the "e-schwantz swinging scale", I'll have to ask that you not ruin your good "shot" by heaping on obviously fabricated nonsense in a flawed attempt to buttress your argument, as it can only lead to calling into question the validity of your entire argument by anyone who has the faintest idea what you are talking about, never mind those who are in any way "in the know". I have no objection to Rust taking a shot mind, this is rants and flames after all, and he did open himself up by posting, but really, do it right.

So, in conclusion, I remind the reader:
1. Don't make promises you obviously can't deliver, it just makes you look like a clown.
2. Don't make up nonsense to buttress an otherwise valid statement, that also makes you look like a clown.

Or, to put in in terms most likely to be understood:

I wouldn't expect you to do anything but back Rust's play here Durok, but keep in mind he threw the first stone.... I distinctly remember an officer of VG telling rust to "shut the fuck up" over guildchat after one of his childish tirades. This was WAAY out of character for any VG officer to handle a situation this way. I won't name the officer because I do like the guy, but its funny that you of all people won't admit to his behavior. Hey Rust maybe you're now supercool and chilled out, who knows, but when I was in there was a great deal of animosity between him, I, and a large base of our membership. Might I also point out how much I got raked over the coals for bringing this exact type of thing to NT, yet here is your buddy Rust doing the same thing.

I played for fun and still do, and probably brang a little more "fun/comedy/laughs" to the often dry guild banter than some wanted, but the last thing I EVER did was get mad about how something was going, and log when I was needed RIGHT before engaging a mob, which our good buddy Rust here did.

Oh and for everyone's knowledge the unmerciful own that is more than likely about to occur is a log of the rust first encounter in chardok when I tried to help the guy out by peeling some of his mobs yet he died, and of course it was my fault. I also had a little fubar with dates, and let my corpse rot. I thought it was day 6 and it was actually day 8, and someone logged the conversation. Major ownage let me tell you.

Ralph, I'm not "backing his play", I'm pointing out the two gaping logic errors in yours. Logic errors which you completely ignored in your reply, even though you quoted my entire post. Why you quoted it and then replied to something completely different, I have no idea. I would not heasitate to point out the same in Rusts post(s) if he made them, incidentally.

You will note that I never claimed Rust was either widely loved or hated (nor did I claim either for you), I see no need to go there. I simply pointed out that your claim (of his bitching, moaning, etc) was false. I further pointed out that is is flat out impossible for you carry out your threat to train him with your character under current game mechanics, unless he actively assists you.

My reference to ownage had nothing to do with any logs incidentally (no idea where you pulled that out of), it was purely my comparison of Rusts displayed intellect and writing skills to your own. I thought I'd do you the friendly thing and advise you that you should gracefully quit the field before you embarassed yourself further. I got Rust kicked out of VG for a day or so when he yelled at me for typing bad German, then he was pissed when an officer talked to him so he told off the officer and got the boot.. I never made it into VG anyway lol.
