My turn for attention whoriness
Today's my birthday, and to celebrate, I got to work from 11pm to 9:30 am this morning, driving around the rural praries, in driving snow, and thick fog (40 ft visibility maximum)
driving out to remote cell tower sites thru fender deep snow @-20celcsius, and then, when we finally get to the most remote site, having the new Engineer lock himself into the building
No word of a lie, I had to kick down a steel reinforced door to get him out
it took probably half an hour
on that note, I'm going out for supper to Mongolie Grill (kind of a buffet stylez stir fry place) then I'm coming home and sleeping until sunday

Mongolian grills can be damn good. If it's the same kind of place they had here, you just need to be good about picking out your sauce components. Happy birfingday, anyway.

PS. As for the weather complaints, I'll say before, and say again: Those who live so far north that there's naught between them and the north pole save for the stray passing caribou have no right to complain when it gets a tad nippy out.
