SOE Station Access price change

Since they added Vanguard to Station Access the price will now be $29.99 a month for Station Access.

Blah...I was just considering going to that since I'd like to keep my eq1 account active and play VG too.

30 bucks a month is still better than eating out 1 night for dinner for 2 comparatively I guess.

Stupid move. They should've dropped the price to 19.99 and promoted the hell out of Station Access as a viable alternative to WOW

Considering a single game is 14.99 they aren't offering any savings unless you play 3 of their games.

Nobody has ever accused SOE of wisely marketing.

They gave away market share quicker than Apple did to MS in the 80s.

My favorite was several years ago when WoW came out they went:

"LIMITED TIME OFFER! Get a full year of Everquest for 50$!"

then 1-2 months later:

"Due to an increase in costs of running game servers, we will be raising the monthly rate by $4. Thank you for understanding!"
